There will be two separate one day rides in Northern and Southern California.

Northern California ride

Southern California ride

When: This will take place on September 20, 2008 in Riverside and ending in Newport Beach, California. The Northern California ride will take place in Fremont taking the riders through Pleasanton and Livermore before returning to California School for the Deaf at Fremont on October 12, 2008.

Cause: The funds raised from this program will go to California School for the Deaf at Fremont and California School for the Deaf at Riverside.

Why?: This is about increasing awareness for the need of education resources for the deaf children. The funds will be used to fund the programs at California School for the Deaf at Fremont and Riverside.

What do I need to do? This ride requires each cyclist to raise a minimum of $1,000. Each cyclist will be given an opportunity to participate in training rides, receive advice from the Riding for Deaf Schools staff on how to train properly, raise funds and receive mental support as well.
